Chuckle with us as we live among the French and try to learn their ways and language. Sail across the Atlantic, dodge pickpockets, climb mountains, descend into the Paris Metro, endure nasty weather and illness, witness the flood of the century, and meet some wonderful and not-so-wonderful people. Come with us as we lose our home, put everything in storage, and navigate through Europe for a few months with no return date or home to come back to. He had a 6-toed cat named Snowball, and today many descendants of his cat roam around the home. Ernest's office was in a separate building behind the house on the second floor. Ernest Hemingway's house had one of the only freshwater pools on the island. It is a writer's haven full of inspiration. I love the lush tropical landscsaping and the 2-story wrap around porch. The Hemingway House is one of my favorite places in Key West.
